Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge

We got king room with tower view and loved it.

Thank you all for a fine stay while on vacation. The hotel was set in a central area adjacent to Dublin and lunch in the Brazen Head, the restaurants for 6-14 year olds, and trucks congregated to drop off goods or collect rubbish from 7 am onwards often leaving engines running and warning beepers on. Also, we were 2 km from our favourite spot Edinburgh Old Town.

Though everything was very good, some of the staff were slightly abrupt.

Fantastic accommodation with outstandingly accommodating staff with one member of staff. Exceptionally comfortable bed, exceptionally clean bathroom and a storage, a lounge, and tea and coffee in the room. Easy to get to, great and lovely location next to the expo at the RDS on the beautiful Merrion road, downtown and pubs and restaurants.

Worth it, good value, had a very positive stay on a quick business trip.

Double room is airy, has a remodeled bathroom. It has superfriendly staff at the reception desk and great and lovely location, that could not be beaten.

The hotel was a useful base for enjoying a beautiful area, close enough to city center and airport, train station, beautiful property, staff support, and O'Connell Street. The room was decent sized and newly decorated, there were a storage space, a lounge, and tea/coffee. Good service was provided here.

Our room was brand-new, nicely furnished and equipped with bathrobe.

The location was particularly good in a shopping area, right by the ' Tower' which was very kind and proactive, the Grandstand Bar, and the centre with shops. Besides, just a few minutes from St Johns Market.

Stayed for 2 nights in this great looking and grand old place, thoroughly enjoyed that. I ate at a really great restaurant for dinner. A storage space, a lounge, and a hair dryer were much appreciated. Good service, though a few employees were very rude. Everything was modern and met the demands.

Brand-new and stocked room, with a storage space, a lounge, and climate control. Excellent and unbeatable location overlooking the tower and near to close to 3 arena city center and aviva stadium as well as public transport links.

The location was quiet in the very nice area. The rooms turned out to be recently renovated and unique with single beds, balconies, for instance. The most important was the staff - friendly professional and hard-working people.

Its location a minute walk from Rds was great and brilliant.

All in all it was good value, considering prices in Dublin. I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this well-kept place. I ate at a really nice restaurant with friendly over stretched staff. The location in a very very nice area was peaceful. Besides, Merrion Park was 3 km away from the property.

The room I stayed in was newly remodelled and great modern with space for table, coffee making facilities, for instance. The location was particularly good, a 10-15 minute walk from a large stadium.

I truly enjoyed this absolutely fantastic and appealing place, stayed there for 3 nights. It was functional, neat and with comfortable beds. The attached restaurant for dinner and the main bar.

Make sure to get king room with fan and posh coffee maker. It has magnificent location and nice gardens.

Our rooms were high quality and recently renovated with balconies as well as comfy beds. The location was particularly good, really close to a multi-purpose stadium.

We really enjoyed this place, as it was the best hotel. It was immaculately clean, everyone was hard-working. The breakfast was delicious and perfect and good value. The location was central, handy is quietly located in Ballsbridge amid the embassies. The service was very good, the food was fabulous.

The staff were friendly professional, the breakfast was generous and everything was fine. The stay on a recent visit to Dublin certainly was good value. The double room was adjoining with very spacious beds. The location was perfect and quiet - ease of access to Rds. This hotel was in a very very nice area close enough to direct bus connection. I thoroughly enjoyed outdoor restaurants around.

Exceptionally comfortable beds, we appreciated it. The rooms were perfect and bright and the location was brilliant in a very nice area. Cafe Insomnia Cafe located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

The hotel had a central position just off the restaurant, Ballsbridge and Dublin. Besides, it was 3 km away from Grand Canal Theater. Comfortable bed and pillows, there were a work desk, a multi-channel TV and a seating area available.

It was in the very central location, had exceptional staff from receptionist to waiter. We didn't have time, so that's why we would come here again.
