The Mercantile Hotel

We enjoyed the hotel, it was charming old and modern and had fantastic location close to Temple Bar and shopping areas, the fantastic bars nearby and Christ Church, St Patrick's Cathedral, St Stephen's Green and much more. The breakfasts were freshly cooked with Granola and a refill.

The hotel was fantastic, it had welcoming staff from reception to house keepers.

Ideal and lively hotel with a downstairs bar, everything was good. Airy and tidy room available with earplugs, a central view, for example.

A comfy bed and a reasonably large and freshly decorated room overall.

It is set in the middle of the city. The staff are wonderful and really care about the guests.

Clean hotel, freshly prepared and satisfactory breakfast, the location is amazing so close to Dunn's Grocery Store great for fresh fruit and salads/sandwiches and Very close to Temple Bar. Lobby restaurant has great food choices. Recommend to stay here.

The location was marvellous - very close to the centre of the Temple Bar area. The hotel staff was exceptional and welcoming. The room was pretty nice, and we had a great view of city.

Great place, lovely staff even with manager. Lovely beds, a work desk, coffee/tea makers, and a TV set in the room. A huge variety of goodies for breakfast. In the middle of the city, close to a castle and a temple. Great restaurant at a short distance from the hotel.

Enjoyed the hotel, it is modern and immaculately clean, has unbeatable location near everything. The rooms were freshly decorated and high-class, had smoke detectors for safety. Free Wi-Fi was good and the service was very good.

Actually the room was reasonably large and freshly decorated with earplugs and 2 single beds plus very spacious bathroom. Incredibly welcoming and exceptional staff from reception to house keepers, had a very nice attitude.

Well, Wi-Fi was pretty slow.

It had incredible location so close to centre of Dublin, all the local tourist attractions and the bars outside. I ate in the lobby restaurant nearby.

Untrustworthy staff!

Plus, the location is unbeatable, minutes from Dublin Castle. The units are tidy with a portable fan to be put in front of the open window. We stay there regularly and would stay there again, everything was spotless.

We appreciated this beautiful old place and its magnificent location. The room was good standard and offered shower facilities, a hairdryer and bath sheets, so that guests had essentials.

The stay was absolutely absolutely amazing. The place was clean and staff was very pleasant. The room was freshly decorated with a central view and the location was amazing. The breakfast was freshly prepared, featured a lot of meals.

Clean hotel, services were VERY GOOD and location was perfect and incredible further away from the night life. My room was good standard, there were central heating, iron and ironing board, and an electronic key card.

Clean hotel in a beautiful building just off The Chester Beatty Library as well as the centre. Very central location near all bars etc. Again, walking distance to Grafton Street.

Spend our time here GREATly. Temple Bar district was worth visiting.

comfortable base for a 4-night stay. for dinner, we went to acapulco, it was right next to the venue. booked a king room with a personal safe, tv and a work desk.
